Seller Credit & Payout Policy

How seller money is held, released, protected and reconciled — and what is still a proposal.

Effective and last updated: 15 October 2026

Status of this policy

Version 9.0 (21 October 2026). These terms apply to every order paid from 21 October 2026. Orders paid earlier keep the terms recorded when they were paid.

Seller proceeds are released 25% of the order value 45 days after confirmed delivery, 25% on day 60 and 25% on day 75, unless an order is on hold.

Purpose

Prevent: verify sellers and payout details, and review required product evidence before affected listings go live. Detect: monitor orders, fulfilment, delivery, complaints, refunds, disputes, chargebacks and seller behaviour. Contain: hold affected unpaid proceeds when a credible risk trigger occurs, where permitted by law and our payment partner agreement. Review: investigate flagged cases and record evidence, decision and approver. Protect: maintain liquidity and any approved reserve. Reconcile: match order, payment, settlement, refund, fee, ledger and payout records.

Commission and release schedule

A commission of 25% of the gross product sale for orders paid from October 26, 2026 (earlier orders keep the commission recorded when they were paid). The seller's 75% is released in three parts after confirmed delivery: 25% of the gross order on day 45, 25% on day 60 and 25% on day 75. Example on a $100 order: $25 commission; seller $25 on day 45 + $25 on day 60 + $25 on day 75 = $75. Applicable sales tax is calculated separately, is not part of the commission and is not Bazaretti revenue. Where the law makes Bazaretti the marketplace facilitator or responsible marketplace in a U.S. state or Canadian jurisdiction, Bazaretti is responsible for collecting and remitting that marketplace sales tax once registered there. Sellers remain responsible for their own income taxes and any other taxes the law leaves with them; sellers are not exempt from all taxes. Released money accumulates in the seller's balance and is paid to the seller's bank in a single transfer on the 1st and the 15th of each month, US Pacific time; we do not send payouts on any other day. A release that falls due between payout dates is included in the next payout. Example: a $25 release on December 17 is paid on January 1; releases due January 1 and January 16 are both paid on February 1.

Each release requires delivery evidence, completed reconciliation, no active hold and funds actually available; later releases repeat refund, return, dispute and risk checks. Unsettled sales, projected commission or unavailable balances are never treated as available for payout. Orders keep the terms recorded when they were paid.

Refunds, returns, disputes and chargebacks

Buyers may request a return or refund within 30 days of confirmed delivery where permitted by law and buyer terms; statutory consumer and card-network rights are not limited. A refund request, dispute, chargeback, delivery anomaly or credible fraud or compliance alert flags the order and holds affected unpaid proceeds where permitted, followed by documented manual review.

Refunds and dispute responses use our payment partner's approved workflow within provider, scheme and legal deadlines. Held proceeds are released only when release conditions are met. Where a seller balance is insufficient, only recovery, reserve and collateral mechanisms approved by our payment partner are used; one seller's funds never cover another seller's losses unless expressly permitted.

Seller onboarding and risk monitoring

Every seller must complete our payment partner's required onboarding verification before activation. Material mismatches between seller identity, business and payout-account ownership must be resolved before activation or payout. Required product evidence must be provided before affected listings are activated.

We watch for unusual refunds, returns, complaints, disputes or chargebacks; unusual order velocity or value; suspicious account changes; missing, invalid or late tracking; unsubstantiated seller information; and product safety, intellectual-property or prohibited-goods concerns. Depending on severity we may request information, restrict new orders, suspend a listing or seller, and hold affected unpaid proceeds where permitted.

Liquidity, reconciliation and records

Any reserve, collateral or liquidity mechanism will be agreed with our payment partner before launch. Only funds actually available and permitted are counted; forecast commission or unsettled proceeds are not.

Orders, payment and refund records, settlements, seller ledger lines, commission and payouts are reconciled using provider identifiers and currency. A payout is marked complete only when confirmed by the provider. Processing is idempotent and audited to prevent duplicate refunds or payouts. Access to identity, banking and payment data is restricted to authorised personnel.

Responsibilities and limitations

Bazaretti: marketplace operations, seller eligibility, listing rules, risk monitoring, investigations, buyer support, reconciliation, records and enforcement. Payment partner: only the payment, onboarding, funds-flow, settlement, payout and refund/dispute services actually approved and enabled. Seller: accurate information, compliant listings, fulfilment and tracking, cooperation with reviews, and valid payout details.

Controls marked proposed or pending are not represented as live. No guarantee of approval, zero risk or any dispute rate is made. This policy is reviewed at least annually and after material changes.
